I'm not sure who is telling you there is a SCSI-2 interface, but my Vista S-12 came stock from the factory with a standard 50-pin SCSI port. No special cabling needed. I do not believe that the Vista S-12 is available with a true SCSI-2 port. (Any UMAX techs out there that know differently?
